Double Wall Corrugated (DWC) pipes were introduced as DRex  in India for the first time. These pipes are made of a material called PE/PP. They have a smooth inside and a corrugated (wavy) outside surface. The corrugated outside surface makes the pipes strong and able to handle heavy loads without getting damaged.

Unlike regular pipes, D-Rex pipes don’t get squashed when vehicles drive over them. They are also flexible enough to be installed in curved paths. The inside wall of the pipes is smooth, which helps liquids and slurry flow smoothly without getting blocked or collecting dirt inside the pipe. Because of these advantages and the reasonable cost, D-Rex pipes are popular among customers and contractors.

DWC* Pipes and fittings are  using HDPE polymer. These pipes are resistant to various types of gases & chemicals which are generated due to putrefaction of various ingredients flowing in the system.

DWC* Pipes are as per IS 16098 (Part-2), have a smooth internal surface and corrugated external surface. The corrugated external surface provides greater stiffness, withstands soil movements & takes higher loads (static & dynamic), whereas the internal surface helps in smooth flow of sewerage.
